Congratulations to Katie Charboneau on winning the Steve Cutway Accessibility Award
During her time at Queen's, Katie Charboneau, Artsci’11, worked to change attitudes on campus, and helped bring attention to physical barriers. She spearheaded the creation of a Queen’s Accessibility Awareness Month as well as a specialized library, two initiatives that raised awareness of accessibility issues and helped to educate the Queen’s community.
Katie's many contributions to Queen's are being recognized with the Steve Cutway Accessibility Award during a ceremony on February 27, 2017. In advance of the presentation, the Queen's Gazette is profiling the award winners. Read more about Katie's work in today's article.
