Event Date:
Nov 8, 2017
Event Location:
Watson Hall Rm. 122

Please mark your calendars for the premier event in the 2017-18 Queen's University Arthur Lower Canadian History Workshop Series. Dr. Laura Murray (English and Cultural Studies, Queen’s University) will discuss with workshop participants “Challenges and Opportunities in Public History: The Swamp Ward and Inner Harbour History Project.”

Wednesday 8 November, 2017 at 6pm in Watson Hall Rm. 122

Dr. Murray will be discussing the Swamp Ward project, an innovative, web-based, and (increasingly) multi-media mobilization of local history she has directed since 2015.

Audience members should prepare (and this will be fun prep!) to workshop with Professor Murray. Please consult the Swamp Ward and Inner Harbour History Project and listen to at least two of the podcasts your choice.
