Pre-Book Equipment at Bracken Library (Service for Health Sciences Faculty, Staff and Graduate Students)
Electronic requests are read and processed by Access Services day staff (Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm, holidays excluded). Please allow 24 hours to process your requests.
POLICIES
- You are responsible for the equipment once it is set up.
- Health Sciences faculty and staff can book in advance Bracken Health Sciences Library group study rooms and equipment (e.g. laptop computers, digital projectors and a wireless microphone).
- To book a group study room and equipment, you have two options:
- Call the Access Services Unit (613 533-2510), Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and speak with the staff to make the booking.
- Complete this online form for pre-booking Bracken Library equipment.
- Health Sciences faculty and staff who booked equipment are required to return the equipment to the Access Services Desk. In order to book a computer laptop, digital projector or microphone, you must provide your library barcode.
- The group study room and equipment booking will be cancelled if you are more than 10 minutes late showing up to accept the scheduled group study room booking.
- If you do not need the room/equipment you have booked, notify the Access Services staff as early as possible so that your reservation can be cancelled (see policy #1).
- Clickers + receivers must be picked up and returned to the Bracken Health Sciences Library Access Services desk, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
