How do I print on only one side of the page (single-sided printing)?
By default, Library printers will print on both sides of the page (double-sided printing). You can choose to override the default setting and do single-sided printing for individual print jobs.
From any library computer workstation:
- Select Preferences or Properties from the program’s print job screen
- Click the Finishing tab
- Un-check the box to Print on Both Sides
Please note that page counts from some software programs (e.g. Internet Explorer) are sometimes inaccurate, occasionally resulting in a $0.10 overcharge on some print jobs.
Default double-sided printing was implemented at the request of a number of environmental sustainability clubs and advocates at Queen’s.
