You can pay for library printing, photocopies, and microform printing using a library copy card.  You can purchase library copy cards at any library location:

• Circulation desk:
  cash: all libraries
  debit/credit: Stauffer, Bracken
• Self-serve card machines:
  cash only: Stauffer, Douglas, Bracken and Law libraries

By default, Library printers will print on both sides of the page (double-sided printing).  You can choose to override the default setting and do single-sided printing for individual print jobs.

Windows XP has basic built-in zip capability so that you can compress files by using the Compressed (zipped) Folder feature. Folders compressed by using this feature are identified by a zippered folder icon.

On Library computers, if you are logged in with your Queen's NetID you can right-click a file, point to "Send To" on the shortcut menu, and then click "Compressed (zipped) Folder". You can then move or copy other files to that folder to compress them.  read more »

Self-serve, black-and-white photocopiers are located in each campus library, all with a copy charge of 11 cents per page. In addition, there is one colour photocopier in the library system: it is located in the Stauffer Library Art Collection on the Library's Second Floor and the charge is 55 cents per page.  read more »

• Colour printing (available in Stauffer, Douglas and the Education Libraries): $0.60 per page

The library computers use Queen's NetID for logging in.  You may need to activate your NetID, or change your password:

To use Queen's Library photocopiers, you will need either:

Cards cost $5 ($1 for the card plus $4 of value) and are available for purchase from the Circulation Desk of any library or from a card dispensing machine located in each library .    Credit may be added to a card at any Circulation Desk or card dispensing machine.
