How many times can books be renewed?

When you sign out regular material, you are guaranteed a minimum two-week loan. Beyond that period, books are subject to recall if they are out on a term loan or a hold can be placed on them if they are out on a two-week loan.

Books can be renewed an unlimited number of times unless they are required by another patron.

Note: Reserve material cannot be renewed online through your library account.

I found an error, bad link, etc. in your catalogue. How do I report the problem?

We appreciate your feedback when you discover and error or bad link in our library catalogue.  Two ways to report errors:

  1. In the QCAT Library Catalogue, click Make a Request -> Report a Record Problem.
  2. Report the problem directly to Library staff at the reference or circulation desk.
