HOW TO FIND YOUR CURRENT WINDOWS XP or VISTA USER NAME
If you want to print from your Windows XP or Vista laptop to a Library printer station, you cannot be logged in as "Administrator" on your laptop. Follow these steps to find out what "User" name you are currently logged in under, on your laptop:
- Press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys simultaneously.
- Windows Task Manager will pop up on the screen (see picture below):
- Click on the Users tab.
- Look under the User heading for your currently logged in account. If you see "Administrator", you know that you will not be able to install QULprint. If you need help logging in to your laptop under a different User account, please contact the IT Support Centre.
- Close Windows Task Manager by clicking on the red "close" button at the upper right corner of the window.
