Open Access Week 2014
Posted: October 14th, 2014Queen’s University is participating in International Open Access Week (Oct. 20-26) with an event held on Oct 23 from 1-4;30 pm in The Atrium, the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. The aim of this event is to engage the research community in discussion about the issues and trends related to open access and promote awareness and understanding of open access – access to material publicly available online.
This year the week’s spotlight is on young people with the theme “Generation Open”. The week will celebrate the contribution we’ve made to the Open Access movement, and address the unique challenges we face.
