Posted: August 20th, 2007Although currently strongest in the area of Computer Sciences, VideoLectures.net is a growing collection interesting and informative lectures video-recorded and made freely available online. It even has a few medical lectures available. The 2560 video collection is searchable but is also easily browsed by most viewed, most recently added, by author, by event (such as a specific conference), by type (such as interviews and tutorials), and by a growing list of categories.

It would be really great if Queen’s faculty could submit their own lectures to this collection. With the video technology and expertise available from our own ITS people (see the Streaming Video @ Queen’s section on their New Media page), it’s easier than ever!
