GAHIC anatomy images
Posted: September 27th, 2006The Gross Anatomy and Histology Image Catalogue (or “GAHIC”) is an extensive collection of high quality labeled gross anatomy and histology digital images from the Queen’s University Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.
It allows the user to search for images by keyword or to browse images by region, system, or histology. The system provides many levels of detail when using the three browsing methods.
Students enrolled in Anatomy courses were required to purchase individual subscriptions to access this resource, however for the academic year 2006/07, Bracken Health Sciences Library is pleased to provide access to the entire Queen’s University community.
