Lillian Allen, Canada Council Writer-in-Residence, to read in Stauffer Library on October 23
Posted: October 17th, 2006Lillian Allen, the English Department’s first Canada Council Writer-in-Residence, will deliver a reading in Stauffer Library, on Monday, October 23 at 4:30 pm, in celebration of the opening of the Speakers’ Corner in the Queen’s Learning Commons. Lillian Allen, who specializes in the writing and performing of dub poetry, is an internationally renowned poet and writer of short stories and plays, and an influential figure on the Canadian cultural landscape. All are welcome!
