Canadian-born Physicist Wins Nobel Prize in Physics.
Posted: October 6th, 2009Williard S. Boyle, born in Amherst, N. S., and two Americans (George Smith and Charles K. Kao) were today awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work inventing an imaging semiconductor circuit known as the CCD sensor.
