• Monday, Feb 11: 12:30 – 1:30
• Wednesday, Feb 13: 1:30 – 2:30
• Thursday, Feb 14: 3:30 – 4:30

In these workshops you will learn how to

• Create a RefWorks account
• Import from catalogues and databases
• Create folders, organize research and share files
• Create a bibliography within RefWorks and using Write-N-Cite
• Organize and manage a variety of objects including Microsoft® Word, Equations, Chemical Structures, Technical Drawings and more…

Patent literature is international and interdisciplinary, covering inventions in every field of technology during the last 200 years. Searching patents as well as collecting data for a new patent may be an important part of your research. This workshop will teach you how to locate, retrieve and evaluate patent documents. Refworks is a web-based citation management tool and is available free of charge to all students, faculty and staff courtesy of an institutional subscription by Queen’s University Library.
