RACER (ILL Requesting) System Unavailable Dec 30th

The RACER Interlibrary Loan system will be offline from 8 am to midnight on Saturday, 30 December 2006, to permit necessary server hardware and network reconfiguration.

For the rest of the holiday period, RACER will be fully available. The requests which you place in RACER during this time will be saved and queued by the system, for processing by Interlibrary Loan staff when they return to work in January.

    Canadian Social Investment Database (CSID)

    Canadian Social Investment Database (CSID)

    Provides environmental, social, and governance performance ratings of approximately 300 Canadian companies and income trusts, including all constituents of the  S&P/TSX Composite Index.

    CSID is published by Janzti Research Inc., an independent investment research firm that evaluates and monitors the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of global securities.

    Botterell shut down early morning on December 19th

    Due to scheduled Steam Shutdown to repair a leak in the main line and subsequent lack of building ventilation, no personnel will be permitted to enter Botterell Hall until the shutdown is over:  December 19, 2006 from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

    Index Islamicus
    Index to literature on Islam, the Middle East and the Muslim world. Material cited includes not only work written about the Middle East but also about Muslim areas of Asia and Africa, plus Muslim minorities elsewhere. Over 3,000 journals are monitored for inclusion in the database, together with conference proceedings, monographs, multi-authored works and book reviews. Journals and books are indexed down to the article and chapter level. Date coverage is from 1906 to the present.

    Digitized, facsimile images of J.P. Migne’s collection of more than 160 volumes of Greek material (with Latin translations) relevant to the study of the history of the Christian Church from its beginnings through to the Council of Florence in 1439.  The images are augmented by completely new and comprehensive electronic tables of contents.

    PsychiatryOnline provides online full-text access to the DSM-IV-TR, DSM-IV-TR casebook and treatment companion, five journals including the American journal of psychiatry, and textbooks including the American Psychiatric Publishing textbook of clinical psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association practice guidelines.
