ASM Handbooks Online and ASM Micrograph Center Online
Fulltext access to the complete contents of 20 ASM Handbook volumes and 2 ASM Desk Editions, as well as to over 2,500 micrographs for industrially important alloys. Produced by ASM International and part of the ASM Materials Information web service.
To complete the permanent installation of the new library catalogue servers, we must take the QCAT system offline starting Saturday evening, September 9th and continuing through to Sunday evening, September 10th. A temporary backup catalogue will be available for searching the library collection but all online request functions (renewals, holds, recalls, etc.) will not be accessible. Circulation transactions at library circulation desks will have to be done manually on Sunday.
We apologise for yet another QCAT outage so soon after the last one but this maintenance work is required before we launch fully into the new academic year.
Group Study Rooms can now be booked in half hour instead of one hour increments. So, you can now book a room for 30 minutes instead of having to book for one hour, or 1.5 hours instead of having to book for 2 hours. This enhancement will allow you to make better use of your total bookable hours and potentially increase the overall availablity of the group study rooms.
