A+ Library Ranked First by Students

Posted: November 2nd, 2006

Queen’s University received many A+ ratings in the 2006 University Report Card released Oct. 31 by the Globe and Mail, and one of them was for the overall library. Queen’s Library was one of only two libraries in the country to receive an A + overall and we ranked first in the category of medium sized libraries

Over 32,000 undergraduate students from 49 universities responded to more than 100 questions about their undergrad experience ranging from the quality of teaching to their opinion of libraries. In addition to ranking first overall in the medium-sized libraries category, Queen’s Library also ranked first in its category in services provided by library staff, in the availability of journals, in the availability of quiet study space, and in online resources.
