From 23 July 2009 until 31 August 2009, Queen’s has trial access to Marquis Who’s Who on the Web — a comprehensive, searchable database of over 1.4 million biographies that is updated daily.

This dynamic, web-based repository is entirely searchable and provides a direct gateway to thousands of NRC-authored scientific and technical publications.
NPArC (pronounced N-Park) houses research papers for refereed journals, peer-reviewed conferences and technical reports that NRC researchers produce each year. It also guarantees long-term access to this research-serving as a valuable resource for NRC researchers, collaborators and the public. NPArC currently includes over 35,000 publication records, including 5,000 full-text publications. Over the course of 2009, CISTI will be translating new publication abstracts into both official languages.

IEEE has released IEEE Mobile™ (beta), which allows you to search IEEE from any Web-enabled phone. You’ll be able to conduct simple searches, view up to 10 article abstracts per search, and e-mail yourself a link to view the full article.
IEEE Xplore Mobile Beta is viewable on all web-enabled mobile devices. It has been optimized for newer mobile devices (i.e. Apple iPhone, Blackberry Storm). When using older mobile devices (i.e. Blackberry 8360, Blackberry Curve), you may be able to choose “Internet Browser” as your default browser in your device’s options for optimal viewing.
