Borrowing

The circulation policies at Queen's University Library are designed to enable maximum yet equitable use of, and access to, the Library's collections. First priority is given to supporting the teaching, learning and research programs of the University.  Patrons of other post-secondary institutions in the Kingston area and beyond, as well as Queen's alumni and members of the community, are welcome to use the collections on site or in accordance with the following policies:

Open Access at Queen's

Open Access enables free and immediate access to scholarly research online, thus increasing exposure and potential impact both within the academy and beyond.

Unrestricted access to research for redistribution and reuse in subsequent outputs (by you and others), with attribution, enhances opportunities for collaboration and innovation with industry, government and other stakeholders.
