Collection Policy Outline

General Purpose:

To serve undergraduate and graduate teaching programmes and to maintain up-to-date support for active research groups by acquiring and/or providing on-line access to current related texts and periodicals.

Languages:

Emphasis is on English and Western European languages.

Chronological Limits:

Mainly post 1900.

Type of Material Collected:

  • Books: monographs; bibliographies; conference proceedings; etc.
  • Serial publications: series; periodicals
  • Indexing and abstracting services
    Note: any of the above may be in print, microform, or electronic format
