CISC 497: Social, Ethical and Legal Issues in Computing: Literature Research Strategy and Process
- Define your question by reading background information, and
discussing with professors and colleagues
- Decide what types of literature you want to search for (e.g.
books, articles etc)
- Choose the source to search (library catalogue, article databases) and familiarize yourself with the specifics
- Conduct searches depending on the search type you choose (keyword, title, author)
- Check the results and modify your search if necessary
