Health informatics is a new and growing field, therefore we strive to be responsive and flexible in our service delivery. If there is a service you require which is not listed here please contact us and we will do our best to provide it or, if we are unable to meet your needs, we will refer you to a more appropriate person or department.

Librarian Consultations

We will provide customized training and guidance on any of our electronic resources either at the library or by Consultation at your workplace.

Searches

Similar to traditional literature searches, we will conduct customized searches in a variety of resources and send you the results by email. Searches can be done for video, audio, illustrations, animations, websites, multimedia, or any other electronic resource. Examples of past searches are:

  • images of various dermatological conditions
  • video of the epidural anesthesia procedure
  • animations of virus reproduction
  • list of cultural competence websites
  • list of websites aimed rural preceptors

To request a search please contact Laurie Scott by email or phone (613) 533-6000 ext. 77694.
