Library Research Computers offer both an "anonymous user (default)" and a "Queen's NetID user" option. The anonymous user login is available to all library users, including members of the Kingston community and other visitors, and gives access to the web, the library catalogue, library electronic resources available via the web (where licensing permits), and MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional. The Queen's NetID user login gives access to all of the above plus additional research databases, software applications and computer permissions. Read more details below.

Library Research Stations are configured identically throughout the library system. Thus, no matter which campus library you may be working in, you can expect the same suite of software tools to facilitate your research. These PC and laptop computers are located in each library, primarily at seated stations, as well as in all Library labs and electronic classrooms (view detailed location information).
