This data set was created from the interest and dividend information contained in personal income tax returns of all family members.
Canadian Capital Gains
This data set provides information on taxfilers who reported capital gains on line 127 of their personal tax return. Data are provided on the total number of taxfilers, the number of taxfilers reporting capital gains and the value of capital gains reported.

Canadian Investment Income
This data set provides information on taxfilers who reported dividend income on line 120 of their personal tax return, or interest and other investment income on line 121, or both. These taxfilers include those designates as 'savers' and 'investors' in Canadian Savers and Canadian Investors. In this data, investment income includes both interest and dividends. Four data tables are available:

Economic Dependency Profiles
This data set shows the number of men and women receiving different government transfers and the total amount of each payment type. A region's dependency on transfer payments is demonstrated through the Economic Dependency Ratio (EDR). The EDR is the ratio of transfer payment dollars for every hundred dollars of employment income. The EDR is provided for the area requested and is also shown as a percentage of the ratio for the province or territory and for Canada. The table shows data for the following transfer payments:

Labour Force Income Profiles
This data set shows the number of men and women with labour income and the total amount of each income type, including wages, salaries and commissions, self-employment income and Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. Median dollar figures are provided for total income and employment income. Medians are also expressed as a percentage of the figure for the province/territory and for Canada. Geography available includes postal walks, forward sortation areas, cities, towns and selected census areas.

Migration Estimates
This data set is based on a modelled databank that monitors and tracks the movements of people to and within Canada. Data are derived from the comparison of two consecutive years of tax files. Four data tables are available:
