Library Tour

Education Circulation desk

When you enter the library, you will see the Circulation desk on your right. This is where you check-out and return library materials.

Printers, photocopiers and a scanning station are also located in this area. Copy cards, required for printing and copying, can be purchased at the Circulation desk.


electronic classroom

The e-classroom is located beyond the Circulation desk, to the right. A scanner is available in the classroom for public use.


Information Desk

The Information desk is directly ahead as you enter the main library space. Visit this desk for assistance when you need to find library information. The children's book collection (preschool to young adult) is located beyond the desk in corner opposite the entrance.


public workstations

Public workstations are located immediately to your right as you enter the library. Additional workstations are located on the second and third floors.


Teaching Corner

The library offers classes and workshops in the Teaching Corner, located beyond the ground floor workstations.


current periodicals

Current periodicals can be found adjacent to the Information desk. The Reference collection is located behind the periodicals. Items from the Reference Collection may be borrowed on 3-day loan.


Multimedia Collection

New textbooks, Ministry of Education Documents, and multimedia (including videos, DVDs, kits, posters, big books, audiobooks, CDs and cassettes, and more) are located on the second floor.


Upper floors

Professional development resources for teachers may be found on the third floor.

The upper levels also feature a range of study areas, including comfortable reading chairs with views overlooking Lake Ontario.
