Speakers

Sylvie Belzile, Director of Library Services, University of Sherbrooke.  Chair (2004-2007) of the CARL Committee on Effectiveness Measures and Statistics that initiated the proposal for a CARL-sponsored Canadian "consortial submission" to LibQual+(TM) for SPRING 2007.

Colleen Cook, Dean and Director of the Texas A&M University Libraries.  Colleen oversaw the administration of the SERVQUAL protocol to the University library community in 1995, 1997, and 1999, which led to her role in developing LibQUAL+™ . She has published journal articles and book chapters and made numerous presentations in the fields of library science, history, and research methodology. She specializes in qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Colleen currently chairs the ARL Statistics & Assessment Committee and is a member of the IFLA Statistics and Evaluation Section Committee.
 
Sam Kalb, Library Assessment and IT Projects Coordinator, Queen's University.  Coordinator of the 2007 consortial Canadian LibQUAL+™ survey, sponsored by the Canadian Association of Research Libraries and coordinator of Queen's Univesity LibQUAL+™ surveys.

Martha Kyrillidou, Director, ARL Statistics and Measurement Program.  Martha is responsible for identifying tools for measuring the organizational performance and effectiveness of academic and research libraries; represents ARL's Statistics and Measurement program to professional and higher education associations, federal agencies, foundations, the press, member libraries, etc.; administers the policy, technical, and production aspects, including data collection, analysis and publication of the statistical electronic and print-based products; and coordinates the statistics and measurement program with other related ARL programs.

Jimmy Légaré, Comunications Librarian, University of Montréal.  Member of the team coordinating the University of Montreal LibQUAL™ surveys.

Madeleine Lefebvre, University Librarian, St. Mary's University.  Organized the 2006 St. Mary's University LibQUAL™ survey.

Pam Ryan, Assessment Librarian, University of Alberta.  Coordinator of the University of Alberta Libraries annual LibQUAL+™ survey.
