New study space available on the Stauffer Library Terrace

Post Date:

We are excited to announce that the terrace on the second floor of Stauffer Library is now accessible seasonally!

The terrace overlooks University and Union Streets, and provides the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon studying in the open air, or discussing a project with fellow researchers until the sun sets.

We often hear from students that increasing study space is a priority, and members of the Queen’s community have long expressed their enthusiasm for the opening of the Stauffer Library Terrace. We are pleased to prepare for the 2018-19 term by moving forward on this feedback.

The terrace is accessible from the Alan G. Green Fireplace Reading Room, and will be open seasonally, available from morning to dusk as weather permits. We hope you are as excited as we are to spend some time in this new, unique study space that increases individual and collaborative learning space on campus.
