We are pleased to welcome six Consortium of Advanced Research and Training (CARTA) librarians who are visiting us from Africa as part of a project that trains library scientists in the methodology of synthesis. This project is headed up by Dr. Christina Godfrey (Scientific Director of the Queen’s Collaboration for Health Care Quality and Assistant Professor in Nursing) and co-taught by Clinical Outreach Services Librarian Amanda Ross-White.

CARTA is a collaboration between nine academic and four research institutions from central, western, eastern and southern Africa to support the development of a vibrant African academy able to led world class multidisciplinary research that impacts positively on public and population health.
