Use of Bookable Seats

  • Only one student may attend a single seat booking
  • You are only permitted to sit at your seat and may not occupy any other seat in the library
  • You are expected to bring your own laptop, as library computers and equipment (including printers and scanners) are not available for student use at this time.
  • Up to 32 hours can be requested in a calendar month 
  • Cancellations must occur 1 hour before booking, otherwise, your booking will be deducted from your allotted time for the calendar month.   
  • Seat bookings are available to all Queen's students with a NetID 
  • All seats are bookable in 4-hour time slots (240 minutes)
  • A single booking is considered a minimum of 4 hours (240 minutes) 
  • An additional 1 hour is available for use at the end of each booking, it will not be counted toward your monthly usage (and no additional booking is required) 
  • Up to 2 bookings can be requested in a single day 
  • Bookings time slots are made available one week in advance 
  • Bookings can be submitted up to 1 hour prior to the commencement of a time slot
  • Our Code of Behaviour for Library Users applies while using the library
