Copyright & Photocopied Print Materials on Library Reserve

Queen's University Library allows faculty to put some photocopies of materials on reserve. One paper copy of an article or book chapter may be put on course reserve for students in your course. To put a photocopy of a book chapter or article on course reserve, the photocopied content must comply with the Fair Dealing Requirements (Appendix A of the Copyright Compliance and Administration Policy).

The Fair Dealing Requirements only apply to photocopies. Original print materials can be put on reserve without restriction.

To put materials on reserve, see our Course Reserves for Faculty & Instructors page.
