Federal Court Decision on Copyright

On July 12, 2017, Access Copyright, (a collective representing creators and publishers in Canada) won a lawsuit in the Federal Court against York University.

This is a complex case, and the Federal Court’s decision could have broad implications for the post-secondary sector.
