Post Date:
Sep 25, 2023
Saturday September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Campus-wide events will be taking place between September 25 and October 2 to acknowledge the solemn importance of this day. One of these events includes an Indigenous art display in the Fireplace Reading Room in Stauffer Library that features works of local Indigenous artists.
There will also be displays at library locations as follows:

- Stauffer Library features resources to encourage reflection and learning. The resources are from an Indigenous perspective and focus on themes including the meaning of reconciliation, the history of the colonial system in Canada, and what Canada and Canadians need for true reconciliation. Formats include print books and QR codes to eBooks and streaming videos.
- The Education Library has a K-12+ display focused on learning about the residential school system, and has a gallery of Resources for National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
