Sharpen your legal research skills with a session on Lexis+, taught by LexisNexis Learning Consultant, Gordon Brough.
These sessions are open to all Queen’s University students and staff. Choose between an introductory or an advanced skills session -
Getting Started with Lexis+:
- Use the Answers feature to get up to speed quickly with legal definitions and concepts.
- Begin your research using Halsbury’s Encyclopedia of the Law and other secondary sources.
- Find and search for cases and note-up a case.
Lexis+ Advanced Skills:
- Learn advanced search techniques.
- Learn what’s in Practical Guidance.
- Use the AI-driven Brief Analysis tool.
- Conduct scholarly research in international resources, law reviews and journals.
