What is Open Access?

Open Access to research results means providing free and immediate access to scholarly research online, thus increasing exposure and potential impact both within the academy and beyond.

Unrestricted access to research for redistribution and reuse in subsequent outputs (by you and others), with attribution, enhances opportunities for collaboration and innovation with industry, government and other stakeholders. There are two types of open access, Green and Gold.
