Campus Libraries
In May 1999, the Queen's University Special Collections and the Music Library merged into a newly-renovated space on the second floor of the Douglas Library building located at the south-east corner of University Avenue and Union Street. The well-appointed facility includes the W.D. Jordan Special Collections Reading Room, the Graham George Seminar Room, a conservation workroom, and extensive audio-visual facilities. The music collection -- scores, sound recordings, multimedia, monographs, current and bound journals -- are housed in open stacks on the Jordan Library level. Special Collections, including Rare Books and Edith & Lorne Pierce Canadiana Collections, are housed in environmentally-controlled, closed stacks in the Douglas Library building. View the dedication plaque mounted in the W.D. Jordan Library to honour our benefactors.
