Center for Research Libraries : About CRL
The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is a consortium of North American universities, colleges and independent research libraries which aims to acquire and preserve newspapers, journals, documents, archives and other traditional and digital resources for research and teaching. These resources are made available to member libraries cooperatively, through interlibrary loan and electronic delivery. As a full member library, Queen’s Library is able to supplement our own humanities, social sciences and science collections with the extensive and incredibly rich collections housed at CRL (described as more than 5 million "rarely held books, journals, pamphlets, newspapers, dissertations and other primary source materials, and one million digital resources.")
