Key dates for Collaborative Futures Project
We are pleased to announce some key dates in our timeline to implement the Collaborative Futures Shared Library Services Platform (LSP).
Since we announced the selection of the library service platform, we have been working with our service provider Ex Libris to review each partner institution's system and environment, and preparing for implementation. These preparations will continue until Spring 2019.
The implementation phase will officially kickoff in early March 2019 and take approximately 9 months, and will include, among other things, test data migrations and training opportunities to help ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Along with the 12 other participating libraries, we plan to go live with the new Alma / Primo system on December 10, 2019.
We look forward to implementing Ex Libris platforms and realizing the transformative improvements in service and workflow at the library promised by this software and our collaboration. We will continue to provide updates as we move forward.
