Books & Ebooks

We have an extensive collection of print and electronic books (ebooks).

We have a large collection of printed books, both historical and current. Our on-campus print collection is distributed among multiple locations. If the item you are looking for is at a different campus location, in storage, at one of our Omni partner libraries, or is not part of our collection, you can request the item online.

An ebook is a book published in digital form that is readable on computers or other electronic devices.  Ebooks come in a variety of formats (PDF, EPUB, HTML, etc.) with various features depending on the publisher and/or the digital platform where the ebook resides.

Access to ebooks varies based on licensing or platform. Some ebooks can be viewed by only one user at a time, while others can be viewed by multiple users at once. Some ebooks must be “checked out” before users can read them and may have time limits on their use.
