In celebration of National Poetry Month, Queen's University Library presents a selection of Canadian poetry, including winners of the Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry and the Griffin Poetry Prize.

The Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry and the Griffin Poetry Prize aim to spark the public’s imagination and raise awareness of the crucial role poetry plays in our cultural life. There is a print version of this Omni Collection located in the north-facing display case near the main entrance of Stauffer Library.

We’re also proud and excited to showcase an additional print collection focusing on poetry celebrating diverse voices and perspectives primarily from Canada. This collection can be found in the south-facing display case neat the main entrance at Stauffer.

We hope you will take the time to stop in and enjoy these beautifully curated print and virtual collections during the month of April!
