Library Seeking Input on Strategic Plan
Queen’s University Library (QUL) is developing a new strategic plan for the upcoming three years. Working with internal stakeholders and research-based perspectives on academic libraries more generally*, as well as taking into account the strategic goals of Queen’s University, QUL has identified a set of draft priorities which will act as a foundation for building and fulfilling the new strategic plan.
In this strategic planning effort, QUL is seeking input from the broader university community. Queen’s faculty, students, and staff are invited to in-person focus group sessions being held in early 2023 during which they will have the opportunity to communicate their ideas and feedback to library leadership on the updated QUL strategic priorities, and the proposed actions to achieve them. If you are interested in participating in one of these conversations, please fill out this survey. The survey also provides you with the opportunity to provide written input on the library's strategies. Regardless of whether you would like to participate in a focus group your input via the survey is most welcome as we seek to craft a strategic plan that is responsive and relevant to the university community.
