Pop-Up Exhibit: Earth Day

Post Date:
Apr 22, 2019

This year, Monday April 22nd marks Earth Day – a day to celebrate environmental awareness and activism. Earth Day Network states that “unprecedented global destruction and rapid reduction of plant and wildlife populations are directly linked to causes driven by human activity: climate change, deforestation, habitat loss, trafficking and poaching, unsustainable agriculture, pollution and pesticides to name a few. The impacts are far reaching.”
To learn more about climate change, browse our Curio video collection, or peruse resources from the AccessScience database where you can find authoritative and accessible material on all major scientific disciplines.
Earth Day is not just one day out of the year, it’s every day.
