Hannah Tanna

Research & Instruction Librarian, Humanities & Social Sciences

The Research & Instruction Librarian provides effective reference services by liaising with faculty, staff, and students to create and maintain information literacy and instruction programs.

Hannah holds a Master of Library and Information Science, First Nations concentration and a Bachelor of Education, specializing in English and French from the University of British Columbia in addition to a Bachelor of Arts, English with a French minor from Vancouver Island University. In the past few years Hannah has worked in various roles in the public library system, has taught courses at Simon Fraser University and was a teacher on call for the Surrey school district. In addition to her MLIS, Hannah has a diverse teaching background and many skills including French.
