Entering the next phase of Collaborative Futures
As we reach another project milestone, we wanted to provide an update on the Collaborative Futures Shared Library Services Platform (LSP) project.
We are pleased to let you know that since our last update, a Request for Proposal (RFP) has been posted to invite interested suppliers to respond to our requirements for a next generation LSP. Proposals are due today, January 22. For anyone who would like to review the RFP, it is available on the OCUL website.
After the RFP closes, the project will continue to move forward, according to the following schedule:
- February 7 -- Finish evaluation of proposals
- February 21-23 (to be confirmed) – supplier interviews/presentations
- March 5 -- recommendation of selected supplier
- March 15 (to be confirmed) -- finish negotiations, announce selected supplier, and confirm implementation dates
We look forward to this transformative opportunity to make improvements in service and workflows at the library, and will continue to provide updates as we move forward.
Further information about this project can be found on our Collaborative Futures page and the OCUL website. You may also contact Sandra Morden, project manager of the Collaborative Futures Shared Library Services Platform (LSP) Project at Queen’s University Library for more information.
