Computers

We have a number of computer stations available for your research with access to specialized software.

Bookable computers

Designated research stations are available to all members of the Queen's community with an active NetID. Please select your location to see a list of available computers.

Chargers, Cables & Technology Borrowing

Our locations have a variety of equipment you can borrow on 3-hour loan. This may include:

  • Mobile phone chargers
  • Laptop power adapters
  • Projectors
  • Cables and adapters
  • Power bars
  • Portable CD/DVD players
  • Keyboards
  • Mice

 

Copying

You can print, scan, and copy at most of our locations using our PrintQ system.

  • Black & White:
    • $0.10 / printed side (8.5"x 11", 8.5" x 14")
  • Colour:
    • $0.45 / printed side (8.5"x 11", 8.5" x 14")

Scanning

Scanning to email is free of charge, with the stations accessible on a first-come, first-served basis. User guides are provided for you on each station’s desktop. Some locations may have additional printed help documents available.
