Ephemeral Collection

Special Collections is home to many ephemeral objects. A quick glance around our department and you will notice the many Classical busts that top our shelves. We also retain other objects and furniture from prominent Canadian figures such as Sir Sanford Fleming's medals and Sir John A. MacDonald's cabinets. Along with author and former Governor General John Buchan's library we have his library ladder, table, and desk which are kept in the John Buchan room.

In addition to these large objects, we have amassed a collection of stereoscopic cards, post cards, greeting cards, and other print material which we have collected in our ephemeral files.
