About Scholarly Publishing

Scholarly Publishing involves the processes and support systems that help researchers communicate and share their research outputs effectively. By making your publications open access, you increase their impact and ensure they are available to a wider audience. We can support you with:

  • Making your publications open access
  • Meeting the Tri-Agency open access requirements
  • Starting an open access journal or monograph
  • Identifying predatory publishers and conferences
  • Enhancing your research profile with an ORCID iD
  • Learning about copyright and author's rights

Services

Publishing services and supports available through the library.

An ORCID iD is a unique, persistent code (e.g. 0000-0001-2345-6789) assigned to an individual researcher.  It helps to distinguish you from every other researcher and ensures work is correctly attributed - this includes publications, grants, data sets, and all research inputs, employment, education, funding and scholarly works.
