About this location
Welcome to the Education Library, located on the main floor of Duncan McArthur Hall. The library provides the information services and resources you need for your teaching, learning, and research, and space for contemplation and collaboration. Education Library staff work in close consultation with researchers, learners, and instructors across the disciplines to ensure they have the information resources they need.
Services, Departments, & Resources
This library houses a variety of services, departments, and resources dedicated to your learning and research.
Education resources include:
- Children’s and young adult fiction and non-fiction in English and French
- Professional resources for teachers, textbooks with teacher guides
- Ministry of Education documents
- Multimedia (kits, posters, puppets, big books)
- Academic resources for researchers
- Electronic access to the major databases in the field and to over 2000 education-related journals

The classroom B120 has a height-adjustable workstation and a computer equipped with Dragon Naturally Speaking, Inspiration, Kurzweil 3000, Read&Write, Equatio, and ZoomText.
There is an elevator located in the Library.
There are no accessible washrooms inside of the Library. Accessible washrooms are located near the Library. Refer to the floor map.

Book a Room
When its time to study or collaborate as a group we have the space you need. Queen’s students, staff and faculty can reserve group study rooms.
There are three group study rooms available to book in the Education Library. These rooms have a 4- to 8-person capacity.
There is one classroom available to book in the Education Library.
The classroom provides an accessible inviting location for Queen's University Library's teaching programs. The classroom is equipped with laptops, and is available for use when classes are not booked. The classroom is open during library hours.
The Education Library offers classes and workshops in the Teaching Corner, located beyond the ground floor workstations.
