Librarians offer orientations, information sessions, research consultations, and workshops by request. Classes can be face to face, via Zoom or Teams, or via pre-recorded videos that your students can watch asynchronously.

Specialized course and research guides can be created upon request and embedded in course management systems.

Librarians consult on the selection and acquisition of course materials, including Open Education Resources (OERs) and multimedia, research skills development, critical evaluation of resources, assignment design and inquiry-based learning.

Librarians steward the collection by using specific retention and deselection policies that support current university research and teaching and reflect multiple and diverse perspectives.

Course Materials and Reserves

Learn how the library can assist with creating course materials and course reserves for undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.

The library supports the creation of course materials to help develop research skills in undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses by:

  • Creating learning objects, tutorials, and guides based on information literacy and research skill needs.
  • Assisting with creating accessible course materials (videos, PowerPoints, PDFs, etc.) for students with disabilities.

Our Course Reserves page provides a single access point for course materials and ensures copyright compliance.

Create your reading lists using our course reserves form.
