While the sale of goods or services is not permitted in our facilities, the library may allow occasional sales in very limited circumstances and subject to university policies and procedures.
The most notable exception is when hosting book launches and signings in our library spaces.
Such events are a natural fit for library spaces and highlight and support the important work of our Queen’s and Kingston community members. Given that book sales are a requirement of hosting these events, book sales by a third party will be permitted during the event only, and provided they do not interfere with the activities of patrons or staff.
