An ORCID iD is a unique, persistent code (e.g. 0000-0001-2345-6789) assigned to an individual researcher. It helps to distinguish you from every other researcher and ensures work is correctly attributed - this includes publications, grants, data sets, and all research inputs, employment, education, funding and scholarly works.
The Queen's University library provides Queen’s faculty and students with the hosting and support to publish an open access journal, proceedings publication, or monograph series.

The Queen’s Scholarly Publication Fund provides financial assistance to Queen’s researchers for the costs associated with publishing scholarly books. Applications are adjudicated twice yearly. The application deadlines are April 15 and October 15.
A fund that supports the creation or adaptation of Open Educational Resources (OERs) for Queen's courses.
The library offers support for OA publishing through transformative agreements (TAs) and/or article processing charge (APC) discounts.
