Kanopy Films for Course Use

Make a request for a Kanopy film

Films that are not already available on another platform may be leased on the Kanopy platform at the request of faculty, for course use. The terms of the license range from 1 to 3 years, and this information is included in the film's record in Omni. We provide access to thousands of streaming films outside of the Kanopy platform, so please check Omni before submitting a request for a film from Kanopy.

Some films available on Kanopy can be viewed via the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL). Titles are viewed/borrowed using free monthly ‘tickets.’
